Too often the church in the West requires believers to jump through so many man-made hoops before attempting ministry, that by the time all the requirements are met, the person is completely disconnected from friends and family.

That’s not how Jesus did discipleship. He expected people to IMMEDIATELY start ministering to their friends and family. No hoops required!

Remember the Samaritan woman at the well with the seven failed marriages and the live-in boyfriend? She was a mess. Then she met Jesus, and without finishing Bible college, foundations class, discipleship course—immediately she went to her village and told her friends about Jesus.

Here’s what happened after this fledgling disciple testified about Jesus: “Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony” (John 4:39)

She was a NEW BELIEVER and with minimal training, she led MANY to Christ by simply telling her story.

Never underestimate the power of a testimony.
