As leaders, we must remember that we won’t hold our positions forever. We may transition to a different ministry field or step down from vocational ministry altogether. We can continue to honor and trust God as we prepare for what’s next.
When we look at the story of Noah, we see that God leads him off the ark and out of the familiar. Genesis tells us two things Noah did in his transition that we can follow:
- Build an altar.
- Stay on mission.
In seasons of change, we must trust God and remember his ultimate calling on our lives. May we continue to bear fruit, walk in purpose, and live by faith, wherever God calls us.
