In Acts 18, we see experienced leaders (Priscilla and Aquila) strengthen an eloquent, fervent, and bold emerging leader (Apollos) in four repeatable steps:
- They LISTENED to him preach and teach.
- They UPGRADED him privately.
- They EXPLAINED theological truth to him.
- They EMPOWERED him to minister.
If we want to strengthen disciples and see gospel expansion, then experienced leaders must intentionally LISTEN, privately UPGRADE, consistently EXPLAIN proper theology, and faithfully EMPOWER emerging leaders.
