I spoke to both my brothers at midnight (Manila time) last night. They were not sure if Mom would make it through the night. Here is the latest from my sister, Lynn:
We are very encouraged by mom’s progress this afternoon. Jim, Liz, David and I all felt very good by the way Mom was responding to us and even by her appearance. Her blood pressure has risen which has us happy.
She is still in critical but stable condition, but is doing much better than she was earlier today.
The medication they are giving her for internal bleeding appear to be working. Her white blood cell is slightly elevated which may mean infection and her heart rate has remained elevated. If she gets through tonight then we will be back where she was at admittance to the hospital and the doctors will begin to address her heart condition.
