We have been involved in campus ministry the whole 23 years we have lived in Manila. Since a vast majority of Filipino students are financially underprivileged, to do campus ministry in Manila is to minister to the poor. Dr. Joey and Tess Castro are the driving force behind our ministry to the 20,000 plus students at Rizal High School (RHS). As Doc Joey and his team reached more and more RHS students with the gospel, it was heart-breaking to see many bright students not able to attend college because of poverty.

Thus Doc Joey started our LIFE Scholarships program in 2003 with 25 scholars. Each year we have added more scholars and we now have over 100 deserving scholars in our program. Seventeen of our original scholars have now graduated from university, have gotten good jobs and are able to provide for their families. Our goal is to help people out of poverty through education, one family at a time.
