While thousands of my Filipino friends were “running for LIFE,” I was sleeping for life.

In order to help disadvantaged youth in the Philippines stay in high school and go to university, our Real Life Foundation hosted a 5K and 10K fun run in Fort Bonifacio, Philippines.

Over 2000 runners, “runners,” and walkers joined the cause. I hate running, and I hate waking up early, but I would have run/walked this 10K if I had been in the Philippines.

Major sponsors included Nike, MTV, Manila Autogas, and Powerade. Great use of corp money—financing the education of smart kids from poor families.

Here are some early pix and blogs about the event:

Anson posted some great pix of the run (Anson always posts great pix!)
