Caring for Orphans
Wed., February 07, 2007
We started the afternoon session of our Asia IMT meeting with a report about
our orphanage on the China border that cares for North Korean refugees.
Before the 1995-1999 famine, the population of North Korea was 26 million.
The current population is estimated to be less than 22 million. More than 4
million people perished in the famine. This left thousands of orphans.
The western press has largely ignored this tragedy, but that does not make
it less real. Please pray with us for provision and protection for this
ministry to these poor and homeless orphans.
